Does the colors in your living room match? (For those of you who have your own place)

I've lived in an apartment with my bf for over a year and our living room is just sad lol. Nothing matches, color wise or old vs modern wise. We have a dull purple/pinkish couch and chair literally from the 80s. Aztec styled pillows. A red and black poster and a bright teal poster. A modern light blue, white, and grey lamp. I could go on and on nothing goes well with each other and it drives me crazy!

How long did you have a place until you styled it nicely and got color coordinated?! I would have to buy new everything 😩
