How close do you think?

Question

38 weeks. 1.5 cm dilated, 50% effaced, engaged -1... how close do you think I am to labor? My doctor estimated that my son was about 7.5 lbs and she thought he would stay in at least another week. Anyone had stats close to this? Thanks!

I was 3 cm at 40.2 now I'm 41 weeks and still no baby

Looks like you're right on target. You have a couple of weeks. What you want is a +1 or +2, 80-100% effaced, and a couple centimeters dilated. You can't really dilate until you near fully effaced or dropped.
