need advice on when to go bra shopping?

I'm about 16 weeks and my bras are already fitting so tightly on the cups. I'm about a half a cup to a cup bigger. should I wait or should I buy a bra now? what kind of bra would you recommend?

My breasts changed so much throughout pregnancy.  I started as a 34 DD pre pregnancy and now I'm a 40 DDD at 36 weeks. My milk hasn't even come in yet and I'm expecting to get larger. From my experience find a comfy bra that's cheaper, with no underwire that leaves you room to grow. Later in your third trimester you may want to invest in a few good quality nursing bras. But at this stage it's not worth the money to buy anything too expensive since you won't be in it too long. 😜

I got the strap extenders for making the band wider which also gives you a little more boob room. Think like sister sizes. But you have soooo much time left to go so you can change a dozen times by then.

Go get measured and then buy some good but cheaper priced ones at like tj maxx or Ross

I had to buy bras 3 times during the course. First time was 12-14 weeks, then again around 30ish and again a week after birth to let milk supply come in. I saw your comment on a different post about size and I'm pretty similar. I had to go to a specialty bra store to get mine. They are more expensive but especially the postpartum nursing ones have been fantastic!

I bought bras way before 16 weeks. Walmart has cheap, comfortable nursing bras that are very general in size with lots of hooks.

I've bought a couple new bras since 17 weeks! My boobs were falling out of my old one lol. Just go to Walmart or target and get a couple cute comfy ones or one cute one and then a padded sports bra!
