Is it bad that I don't have a religion ?

I've been to church, but I wouldn't call myself religious. I believe there is a God but I don't pray, I don't go to church anymore, and when I did I never fit in.

I would question your reasons behind needing other people's approval. You can have a relationship with God without religion... Jesus was against religion and called those people hypocrites. Church is important for community and accountability, but it all boils down to a personal relationship with the Lord.

I was exactly the same as you 7 years ago. I knew I believed in God but didn't relate to Christianity, didn't pray or feel anything in a Church. I began to research other religions and found what I was looking for. I would suggest you look deeper in to Christianity first and try to understand it better, then compare with other religions and see how you feel. As one other person says, it may be that you don't relate to any organised religion and just have your own relationship with God, and that's okay too. Just take your time, do it for yourself and be honest about what's in your heart x

I don't believe in a certain religion but I do believe there is a higher power. I live my life treating others as I'd like to be treated, practicing good health, and being one with nature and animals!

You may think that you're not religious, but you actually do have a religion. You believe something, so that is your religion. Everyone is religious in their own way even if they may think they aren't.

I felt this way. For years. I researched different religions. I tried even practicing some and then I was researching Christianity and I found the original Church set up by the disciples of Christ. And I thought okay I like that it feels right. So I got my husband and we attended mass. And are going to start RCIA soon. 
Don't give up hope you will find your spot in this world.
