My baby will be three weeks old in two days, and I have just been breastfeeding exclusively one of my nipples are cracked and it hurts with the initial latch but after it's fine and it'll hurt some a little while after but nothing terrible. Anyways, I was wondering when I should start pumping to save up breast milk, he'll eat every 2 hours and I just don't know when I'm supposed to try and pump if I'll have enough left over to pump a decent amount to save up. And if anyone has any tips on getting this nipple to heal or if I should take a day break and just give him formula for a day. FTM sorry anything helps.
