Are Rock n Play safe to use ?

My 2 month old son has acid reflux and I honestly believe that the rock n play has helped since he is elevated. My son spits up a lot especially if he is completely laying down. I have tried the folded blankets in the crib, but he moves around a lot so that's not very helpful.

I have been reading that the rock n play causes flat head because babies can't really move their head much from side to side..which I also believe is true.

Now all I want to know is if it is safe and if anyone else has used it and not have issues of flat head while on the rock n play?

I will not be having him there to long if I decide to, only until his acid reflux gets better. He is on medication for it.
