How would you describe baby blues??

Im 14 weeks away of giving birth  and I am so worried baby blues please help

For reference, I cried once in the last 5 years (Hachi: a Dog's Tale did me in). The first few days postpartum I cried a bazillion times daily. You're hormonal, exhausted and you get punched right in the face with the realisation of just how much life is gon change. We planned our baby but I still remember ragging on about how we'd made a terrible mistake and our lives are ruined. But it doesn't last long, every day is a little better and then everything is good again and your baby is the greatest human being you've ever encountered.

Baby blues are nothing to worry about. True baby blues (not PPD) only last about 2 weeks. I had it with my first and would randomly burst out crying but was never actually sad. Just overwhelmed with emotions and those hormones are wacky. 
 
PPD however is different and can vary for everyone. I had it with my second and spoke to my doctor about it. It really helps the sooner you identify it and get help.

Baby blues didn't set in until a few days after birth for me. I would be cooking dinner and just sobbing for no reason and I could not stop it. I just felt like crying 24/7.

I'm not a crier. Well, about my own life. Never had ppd with my first two but definitely with my third. I would just sob uncontrollably. It was so not me.
