Omg IUI Pain?!!!

Omg! This is insane! I had no idea my IUI would be this painful! Like ya, cramping, but actual breathtaking pain? It's been an hour and I'm still cramping intensely and I've thrown up because of the pain and am still nauseous. Its hard to write this, but I'm trying to distract myself...

I had some cramping that day too! It felt really period-like. Take it easy for a couple days!!!! By the following week my boobs were so sore, and found out we were pregnant the next week! Good luck!!!

I know this is old  it if anyone is coming to read comments. My first IUI was slight discomfort and a little sore going in,  but I wouldn’t say it was painful. After it was done I was a bit uncormfortable but not sore or cramping at all. Slight brown discharge the day of but that was it.
Just got my second IUI and HOLY MOTHER OF PEARL. A different story. It was sooooooooo painful. I had a tilted cervix both times. But this second time when Dr had to move my cervix it was soooo painful. He moved it during first IUI but it was just a little uncomfortable. After I laid in the office, I had a hard time walking out, and 3 hours later, I’m still cramping, sore, and have discomfort walking. I also had heavier spotting/bleeding this time. Dr poked around a lot more this time forsure, so that is probably a part of it. 
Had two follicles ready to be released trigger yesterday, IUI today and praying I have a sticky baby.

I'm so sorry! That wasn't my experience at all. Yes, I had some cramping after, but it was pretty mild. I remember wanting to lay down with a heating pad. I hope you feel better soon.

I'm sorry yours was painful.  I didn't really feel anything with mine although my ovaries were tender and the speculum going in was a little annoying.

Weird!! I'm hearing that it rarely happens, but it does happen the way it did for me. I'm finally feeling better today, but my abdomen is still somewhat sore.
