Telling people we are expecting ?

How long should me and my husband wait to tell our close family we are pregnant ?

However long you want. We told family as soon as we found out at 3w5d and announced to everyone else at 6 weeks

We told our parents, siblings and a couple close friends  at 5/6 weeks. We waited to tell the rest of the world until 13 weeks, after the first ultrasound. We decided to tell a few close people early because if we did have a miscarriage we would have told them that as well.

we waited fourteen weeks but decided we could each tell one person before than...we both choose a friend that lives out of state

I told my best friend, my parents, and my mother in law the day I got a positive test. I'm not going to publicly announce until my 2nd trimester or close to it though

Completely up to you. Some people wait till 12 weeks to tell to get past the biggest risk for miscarriage... but I don't see why you shouldn't tell your close friends and family. I told my family around 8 weeks.
