Ball around/ next to industrial piercing?

i got my piercing 3 weeks ago, i've been following all the proper care instructions with cleaning it, whenever i touch the bump it burns really bad. anyone know what it could be?

It looks like its infected. 
I wouldn't try to pop it yourself and don't take the earring out because it can trap or spread the infection. I would go to your doctor. I had a friend who had the same issue, he popped it and then took the earring out and he then needed to have surgery and he lost the cartilage in his ear due to infection. I don't want to scare you, but I do want to stress that it should be looked at by a professional before it gets out of hand.

That's what happened to 2 of my friends and the piercer said that one of my friends would always get that little bump when she has any piercing even with her nose one she had something like that. Best to just keep cleaning it

I had the same thing when i got my industrial. It's infection and keloid forming. 
My body basically rejected it the entire time i had it, so i got two small hoops and replaced the bar. it got better but i still ended up with a bad keloid. 
Id recommend taking the bar out once it's not longer infected.

looks like a cheloid. I had an industrial when I was younger and had the same thing (got rid of it after like 5 years bc I couldn't stand sleeping on it anymore) you should have someone look at it if it hurts. in the meantime make sure you keep it clean and avoid sleeping on it.
