Morning sickness and weight?

Hi ladies. I had a thought... I was severely sick my entire first pregnancy. This pregnancy not so much. Mild to light morning sickness that comes and goes. I hear some of you have none?! 😱 
I'm a good 17 lbs heavier starting this pregnancy then I was with my last. I was borderline underweight and now I'm at a healthier weight. Curious if there is a correlation... let me know what you think??

Weight doesn't have anything to do with morning sickness.

That's an interesting thought, I don't know if this is ever been studied… I'm in a healthy weight but at the lower end of the range, or at least I was before the second trimester ha ha! And my morning sickness was god awful, I also had twins… So there might be something in that concentration of hormones idea that another commenter mentioned, who knows!

It's more of a concentration of hormones thing... so gaining weight could have an effect- assuming your hormone levels haven't increased.
It's likely just because each pregnancy is different

My pregnancy with my daughter I was pretty underweight and I was sooooo ill. Like I couldn't get out of bed for 2 weeks.
My next pregnancy where I was considerably bigger (20 pounds) than the first go around I still felt morning sickness but not half as bad!

Realizing this doesn't tell me if you have or don't have morning sickness 🙃🙃 totally defeats my purpose. Comment below and let me know if you do or don't have morning sickness and where you fall on the weight scale. Thanks ladies!

morning sickness is a hormonal thing. Weight has nothing to do with it. I'd suggest crackers and sparkling water, because still water can be a little heavy on your stomach. I was surprised to hear that with my first pregnancy, but sparkling water helped me a lot! And Gatorade. Lots and lots of Gatorade.
