Do you tell your husband when you're testing?

So, I bought a hpt today with the intention of testing when I got home. AF is not due for another 2-3 days, but I really think I ovulated earlier than Glow is telling me, and that AF would come sooner 1-2 days if it's coming. I've been having super sore breasts, and yesterday, I was nauseous on and off quite severely. I was so dizzy I could barely walk on my own. Then I woke up into the middle of the night to cramps after an awfully vivid dream that I got a BFP, then had a MC. It was horrifying. Today, I believe I am 14 DPO, so I thought I'd just test instead of waiting. Maybe I could at least avoid the nightmares. However, as I was going over the instructions in the bathroom, my husband came by, saw my plan, and asked me to wait. So, I put the test back in the box and big girl pouted. What would you have done? Should I test in the morning? Wait another few days? I don't want to create tension about his baby thing, since this only our 2nd month TTC baby #1.
