spotting a week before actual Period start

okay, so on Saturday I had sex with my husband and when I went to the bathroom and wippedIl I had blood clots and light brown periods looking stuff. so I am thought I started my period one week early. on Sunday morning when I woke up I wiped, and there was the dark brown stuff all over again but without blood clots. And it was the same for every single day when I would wake up but I will not have it throughout the day. Friday the 18th, is when I now started my period. What is going on... I hated it.
