Anyone else fed up with this app just referring to users as "girls"?

I was just curious because as someone who's trans, it's not great to be constantly misgendered by the assumption that everyone using Eve is female because it's not just girls who get periods.

There should be an option to select what gender you identify as so instead of, "girl!" It'd be like, "dude!" Or like a gender neutral option where it's like, "hey!". But I just want to remind everyone that our world is still adapting to the new social system. Many of these thugs are still taboo and since this app is made for the female sex, the assumption that everyone on it identifies as a girl comes with it. Bringing awareness to this problem will fix it and lead us to a brighter, more accepting future! Everyone up vote this post so we can bring awareness to this issue.

Thank you! I fall between trans and genderfluid and it really bothers me to the point I just track my period and I don't use it for really anything else because it pissed me off. I'm mis-gendered all the time on a daily basis at work I don't need it here too.

This app is pretty sucky when it comes to lgbtq+ issues. I’ve reported several blatantly homophobic and transphobic comments to be told that it doesn’t go against community guidelines
