Starting baby on sippy cup at 6 months?

I don't know much, but what kinds of sippy cups did you start your child out on? She is still on a size 2 nipple on her bottles so I'm not sure how all that works.

My 6 mo old is also on a medium flow nipple, and we just introduced a sippy cup with a couple of oz of water (not that he drinks that much, but it's there). We use the small Nuby cups with handles. They have to physically push down on the nipple for any liquid to come out. He had a little trouble with it at first: tried to gnaw, hold it in his mouth, slam it on his high chair 😂, but he got the hang of it. Every time we give it to him, he has to go through the same process, and I'm pretty sure he gets more water on his bib than in his mouth, but that's ok. It's adorable and he's getting exposure to it! Happy baby, happy mommy!

I recently bought one for my LO who is 6mos and a loss on size 2 nipples... I didn't even check. It was kind of an impulse item. Right now she kind of plays with it, I just put a couple ounces of water in it. It's an advent my first penguin sippy cup I think.
