I'm 27 and been single for well over a year and am looking to get into the dating game. That being said, I life in a pretty small remote town and have a pretty high sense of self worth. I'm not into playing games or betting around the bush. I've been on the pof dating site and that has been interesting but hasn't led to any dates yet.

I know it's not impossible but it's proving to be pretty difficult to meet decent people. And I'm pretty easy going and and willing to meet people. I'm tired of being alone all the time.

Winter is coming and it's long and cold. Lol.

Any tips or pointers on how to date in today's day and age? I feel I'm at a loss. Maybe I act too friendly and not flirty enough I don't know.
