Kick Counting?

I was wondering when you count kicks either with a 10 min, hour, or full day windows ... do "sweeping" movements count? If so do they count as 1 kick?

My doctor told me to pick roughly the same time (3-4 days a week) and just record the time it takes to get to 10 kicks. Some days its like 10 min and some days it's like 30 min... I just lay on the couch and watch tv and count using an app on my phone.

I tried counting kicks....but after 15 minutes we were at 46 so I gave up counting. he's an active little guy. Lol. I think sweeping movement count. My boy does a lot of those right now. Like I feel him rolling around in there. It's really just tracking their movements, not just kicks. I think only hiccups don't count
