I got this in remembrance of the baby I miscarried a few years back, and a guy I dated who was tragically murdered. The pink and blue ribbon is a symbol for miscarriage and the red and black ribbon is the symbol for loved ones who have passed on in a violent way. (Red being the blood they shed and black is the death and mourning of our loved one). I chose a sugar skull because of what it represents in my culture. I know every time I look at it, it reminds me of the time I had them in my life. Whether it was carrying my baby a small time, or falling hard for an amazing guy. They're part of my life forever and this just reminds me of their beautiful presence. ❤️
