how long did it take for your AF to return to normal after BC????

AF finally showed up after 47 Days!!! I've heard horror stories of women not getting their AF for a very long time after stopping the pill. I was just wondering how long it took everyone to turn back to normal. How many cycles did you wait in order to ttc???????????

I stopped four and a half years ago and started with a cycle of 122 days. Since I have the pco-syndrome my cycles are still not regular, varying between 28 and 42 days... 😒

I was on bc for 9 years(the pill) and the first time i stopped taking it it took 6 months for me to get AF. i went back on BC (nuvaring) for 4 years and stopped  taking it back in March as my partner and i are ttc and its almost been 6 full months and no sign of AF at all yet. ☹ i have been to the doctor and have been told its normal to take a while to regulate buts its so disheartening. hopefully i get it soon.  trying to keep positive and not stress but its difficult some days.

I was put on bc at my 6 week check up with my first child march 2016 just got taken off July 18th 2017 ttc baby #2, and my af had always been between the 21st and 23rd before bc every month well right after taken off bc my period like  scheduled showed it's face July 2017 and lasted normal time. Was very surprised it went back to normal that quickly especially since I hadn't had a period one time since before I got Prego with my daughter. (First child)

I was on birth control for 10 years until October. I got a really light one in November and they went back to normal in December.

114 days (April 12-August 3rd) I was on Depo for 7 years and Nexplanon for 3. But every one is different

After stopping BC my AF came a bit late (but not by much) 32 days. Started TTC right away but understanding that it may take a bit for any residual effects of the pill to be done.
