i found out I was pregnant last year and my SO at the time told a lot of people without my knowledge and then I had a mc at 9 weeks 5 days and all of these people who randomly knew about my pregnancy were asking me how the baby was and stuff which kind of salted the wound and made my loss even harder because i had to explain to more people than i was comfortable with that i was no longer pregnant and explain the situation. I won't tell anyone only my SO until im like 4+months next time I ttc

It's all personal preference. You can announce any time. My best friend announced around 6 weeks and I told everyone at 11 weeks. There's no set rule, just when you're announcing. I wanted to announce our pregnancy just in case something were to happen, I'd want the support. Enjoy every minute!

Yes, if that's what you wish; I told at five weeks. If anything were to happen I would want the love and support from my family, so I wouldn't have to suffer in silence.

You can tell whomever you are comfortable with. There are the miscarriage risks that people try to hold off for but it's completely up to preference. Some like telling everyone asap and then if something happens they have a ton of support. Some like to wait forever... I waited until I was 17 weeks to tell anyone except my closest friends 😅

The last 3 times I've told my SO and my mom. My mom told a bunch of people but no one that knew me so they didn't ask me anything, but this time I'm keeping it between me and my SO until thanksgiving when I will be well into my second trimester if everything goes well.

It's 100% your choice and comfort level. We lost our first pregnancy at 6 weeks (and carried it for 3 more weeks) and didn't tell anyone. I'm now 16 weeks with our second and we told the news at 11 weeks. My thought was, if I'm going to lose this baby, they're going to feel the most love in the world before they go. ❤️❤️

It's all about what you're comfortable with.   I told a ton of people (who knew I was trying to conceive) when I fell pregnant the first time, only to have to text them later when I miscarried.   This time around, I played it closer to the vest, only telling my best friends/some family until after my first ultrasound (7 weeks)  when I told a few more people.   I've just started announcing this pregnancy to other friends in the last couple of weeks and I'm 14w +3d.   
I figure, tell people who would be of comfort to you/understanding of you IF something were to happen.   The others can wait.
