Capitalizing on others?

Leigh

Do you find it wrong or acceptable to capitalize on others by purchasing an entire lot/stock of an item just to resell it for a higher value?

Two examples:

The solar glasses are $5 in stores. But many people are buying all of the stores supply and reselling them for up to $70 a pair! This means that people who are looking to buy some either don't get any or they have to pay 12x the intended amount.

Another example: people will buy multiple gaming consoles when they first come out for around $400 until all stores are sold out, but then resell them online for $800. Again, it means consumers who want them either have to pay double (sometimes more) or not have the item at all.

I understand that these are first world problems, but I'm curious what your take is on people doing this.
