Are there any other moms that have gestational diabetes whose doctor is planning an induction around 38 weeks? I was diagnosed with GD a few months ago and have managed my glucose numbers well with diet, and my doctors have not mentioned induction at all. I've read that there are a lot of moms whose doctors want to induce early due to other issues that can arise with GD and since some of the issues that can apparently come up around 38 weeks my doctors haven't mentioned, i am curious how many do this. I know babies can be bigger but the reasons I've read for inducing don't have to do with size of baby.
