So I went to the doctor today...

She says she has no idea what's wrong with me. (Except she said that in professional terms that I don't even remember). She isn't sure if I ovulate because my bbt chart kinda looks like a heartbeat monitor.

She recommended I go see an ob that specializes in fertility, but warned me that only the consult would be covered by insurance. So have you guys had experiences with fertility treatment? And if so, what am I looking at for costs? I'm truly sad, I think my infertility may be genetic. :(

Any advice you guys have would be great. My SO said that we're going to do whatever it takes but I'm terrified that I'm asking for a lot of hurt. (My mother had to get regular shots in order to have my twin sisters) so basically I'll take anything. Advice, info, recommendations, even just a positive comment. Anything.
