allergic reaction to the pill?

I've started a new form of birth control last week and ive broken out in hives and been itchy all over the last few days, ive also been extreamly dizzy and have lost my appite to eat anything. I've been eating more iron since I started my period incase I had low iron but nothings changed. I re read the info the chemist gave me with my pills and it doesn't say anything about hives or itching... I've never been allergic to anything so i dont really know what signs to look for. could this be an allergic reaction to the birth control? Im taking norimin 28 days
