need advice

so i'm 5 days late as of today - took a test tonight and it came up negative. i have been having some nausea and slight cramps in my abdomen. my husband & i did have unprotected sex during my ovulation period and i am NEVER late. i always start a day or so before or on the day i'm supposed to. not sure what to do at this point, but i'm thinking about waiting until the 7th day & taking a test in the morning. i just didn't know if this had happened to any of y'all, and what you would do on this situation! thanks for your time!!
