Has anyone ever tried any techniques to purposely conceive a boy or girl and if so which did you try and have any of them worked in your favor?

I tried to eat healthy so I ate a banana every day for breakfast until I read earing them would most likely conceive a boy so I stopped ate apples intead I wanted a girl so badly and now I have a little girl who loves to eat bananas

My mum used the Shettles method and conceived me aka a girl! I've read about it too from other people who said it worked.

I tried the shettles method and I'm 9dpo. Waiting to get a BFP. I made sure to have sex a few days prior to projected ovulation so that the boys would die off and the heartier girl sperm would hang around for the egg for up to 5 days or so.
