Should you allow your boyfriend to talk to other females?

I don't love the word "allow" but if something makes me uncomfortable pertaining to other women,  I talk to my husband and he makes changes because he loves and respects me.  I don't think it's healthy to think you're able to tell your SO what they can and can't do.

I mean I'm not his parent. I think it's kind of messed up to prohibit someone from the talking to certain people just because they're the opposite gender. My best friend is a guy. I wouldn't be with anyone who wouldn't "allow" me to speak to him.

You shouldn't "allow" your significant other to do anything. You're not their parent or their owner. If something makes you uncomfortable, voice it and see what can be done to help. But if your boyfriend talking to a girl makes you uncomfortable, that's something you need to work on in yourself, not with him.

Girlfriends/boyfriends shouldn't be an extra parent. My boyfriend and I still have the same friends male and female that we had before we got together. There's a level of trust and respect you're supposed to have. Respect their privacy and trust they won't go out of line

The only woman i've ever asked my SO to not speak to is his ex, who flirted with him and some things she said were out of line. I also told him he could keep talking to her, but i'd be gone (this was very very early into our relationship)
I have never/would never ask him to not speak to women in a general sense. If some girl is acting out of line, he takes care of her himself now because he loves and respects me, and knows i don't tolerate that shit.

I don't mind if he does he's very social and I am not, HOWEVER we have had two issues with girls and I had to put my foot down. One was a girl who he use to "talk" to like 2 years ago. And hasn't really talked to since cause he said she was unstable. But this girl would post pictures of herself in her underwear for EVERYONE to see not privately to him. So he blocked her after. THEN another girl who he hasn't seen again in about 2 years was just a friend but she wanted more. He had no clue and in their texts just in conversations that he had showed me she was being overly flirty and would get aggravated and kinda aggressive when he mentioned me. Then the same girl would send him snapchats and unless she asked him a question he didn't really answer cause she sent them ALL THE TIME! And every now and then when he would show me something then continue to go through them all (which were a lot) there would be one that was not to my liking! The first one was her bent over and pulling her shirt down showing off her breasts. I fully trust my boyfriend even when my anxiety hits harder, but I just feel like if some girl is gonna be sending things like this to someone who she know is in a committed relationship and has been for a while it is just disrespectful and she needs to go! 👋🏻 so she got deleted and blocked to!

If the chicks a hoe and I don't feel comfortable with him doing it, he wouldn't anyway soooo... we both know that a lot of times there is alternative motives to *new* friendships
