I have a question if you and your S/o were dating for 3 years now and he wants to marry you but can't afford a real wedding and wants  getting married in the court house because it's cheaper but according to him later down the road you guys would renews yall vows. How would you guys react to this and what would yall do? Is it bad to get married in the court house?

I'd say if you really love him and want to marry him, do it. Rings and weddings are material things. What really matters is the commitment. The ring and wedding celebration can come later on when the money is saved up.

I 100% would do a court house wedding! Weddings are the biggest waste of money! All my friends who had big weddings have no money and rent shitty little places. I got married in my backyard of the 4 bedroom 2 bathroom house I own with my husband next to our almost Olympic size in ground pool. It cost me $300 and I would do it a million times over. I'd rather the dream house than a stressful party! Save your money. Go on a great trip, buy a house, do something that lasts more than 1 day!

I married my husband at the court house with 15 of our closest family members. we had a bbq at the park the next day. we had like 50ish people. we made hamburgers and hotdogs. it was the best. we don't have a lot of money for big wedding. i think our wedding was perfect. we only spent like 400 dollars for everything. my dress was like 10 bucks as Ross and he got a dress shirt and tie at Wal-Mart.  Its not all about the wedding...its about the marriage and spending a life time together.
