Working as a server (buffalo wild wings) TIPS??

Question

I am currently in a supervisor position at a group home (working as a dsp)
I am moving state and really want to work at bdubs, lol 
Might be a downgrade.. idk 
Any tips on being a server? Never been one.

Write it down. The worst is when you have a server that thinks they have a super memory but end up coming back asking 9 million questions that you already answered. When I worked at Hooters I made better tips when I joked around and had fun. No one wants a dull robot. Your tips are your income so you have to be able to be having a horrible day but pretend like it's the best day in the world until you leave work. People suck and most don't empathize with a waitress having a bad day.
