When are/did you moving baby into their own room?

As long as necessary. American Academy of Pediatrics recommends babies sleep in their parents room until 12 months. Every family is different but we are going to be flexible.

With my first, he was in his crib at 6-7 weeks. He has also basically been sleeping through the night with exceptions of sickness and teething since then. With number two, were only in a two bedroom apartment so it will probably be much later and when she's sleeping through the night consistently.

Our baby boy slept with us in our room in his bassinet beside our bed until three months old. I made a pact at three months I would lay him down in his crib in his own room to sleep. It was hard but so worth it; he sleeps all night long without being disturbed by us. He has been sleeping in his room ever since and he is now one year two months; wow next month marks a year already. :o
