I'm 9 weeks post partum and have not received my period yet. me and my partner became sexually active 4 weeks after giving birth and even though I'm not on ant contraception yet we used the pull out method (I know I know!!). anyway.. last night my partner finished in me by mistake (we don't get a chance to do it often with a baby around so it just happened). I didn't think anything of it at first because I'm 9 weeks post partum with no period yet I assumed my period is very well close by so ovulation would have happened by now already. It wasn't until I just checked my cervix myself to see if I could feel were I'm at with my cycle and my cervix is low, very soft and completely open!! It feels like my body's just started ovulating again since giving birth and I'm worried he's finished in me at the prime time for conception to happen:(! ladies what are your thoughts?? Could ovulation only just be happening now at 9 weeks pp? I am really fertile to as caught pregnant first month trying which ended in a early misscarriage and then caught straight away again before a period!! and I heard your even more fertile after child birth!!
