Placenta low?

Question

I have gone to my obgyn and she said my placenta is low and that at 20 weeks should go back to normal. Have any of you had experience this? To be honest is my first and i do not want a c section.

Mine was low at 36 weeks and by 38 weeks it moved up. The placenta tends to move around. Don't worry till when you're in labor and it's covering your cervix. Even if it's low while you're in labor it's fine and there's no need for them to cut you open unless it's covering your cervix making it impossible for you to deliver vaginally.

Did she say it's covering your cervix or not?? Just close to it? Mine was close, they put me on bedrest because I was also bleeding. That was at 12 weeks. I'm 18 now and the placenta has moved up! They said most of the time it'll move up with the uterus as baby grows. I wouldn't worry!! Just be careful about sex...
