How has Skyla effected your periods????

Question

Are the longer or short? Are they light or heavy or just light spotting? Are they regular or irregular? Do they still exist??
PLEASE put how long you've had yours

I'm looking for real experiences on how Skyla has effected your period.

I've had mine 8 months and my cycles have gotten longer by about 10 days (I was on the pill before so it was regulated at 28 days). My period is lighter and only lasts 3-4 days but I have random spotting the for a few days before and after.

I've had mine for 2 years now and at first it's annoying because u are constantly spotting for like 3 months and then I noticed my periods were a little lighter and there were months where I didn't get a period at all and now they've regulated but they are longer than before when I didn't have skyla. I was 4 days long and now I'm basically a week. But I haven't had any issues so far. My husband doesn't use protection and so far no babies so it's been pretty effective for us.

Also, has anyone gained weight because of the Skyla?

Mine are much longer, around 6-7 days but very light. Most of the time I don't even have to use pads or tampons I just go to the bathroom ever 1-2 hours and wipe and there is barely anything. I MAY have to use a tampon the 2nd day as it's usually the heaviest. 
I had very bad cramps for the first 6 months and now they are mild and only around my period. I've had Skyla since July 2016.
