hello I know this group is just for women who have actually physically went through adopting their child. My story is a little different and I hope you guys will help me with my problems. So here it goes. Long story short my brother when I was younger got adopted because my mother kept going back to prison he finally after years of being in foster care Got adopted the dotted family didn't like the spelling of his first name so they re spelled it and changed his last name to their last name. My real mom is very self-involved and very selfish just not a very good person. She likes attention so a couple years ago she told me my brother passed away three years earlier. I am trying to find out a way to find him if he is still alive. Like I said she lies a lot so I'm not even sure if he did pass away. If he did I want to find him he would have turned 18 this year so it would be his choice to see me or not. And if unfortunately he did pass away I still would like to find his adopted parents so I can learn who he was as a person and things you like to do just meet my brother who used to be. I know this sounds kind of crazy but if anybody has any advice please please please I beg you anything I will take in please. Thank you for your time.
