okay I'm gonna try to keep this short and to the point. A couple months ago I moved in with my parents so my husband could work out of state while my house is being built next door. My husband recently moved back and is staying with his family until our house is done. As you might have seen on the news the big storm is coming to the coast! Where I'm at we're going to get the flooding and heavy rain, but no hurricane. My husband is dead set on picking me up when he gets off of work today before the rain starts, but theres a problem. My dad is one of those dads that thinks he knows it all and lets you know how stupid you are if you don't agree! I just know if I leave my dad is gonna freak out and say all these ignorant things and stress me out to the max. My mom said to just stick it out here so we don't have to listen to my dad get mad about me leaving, but I would feel terrible about that because my husbands family evacuated so he'll be alone. I don't want to imagine him sitting in an apartment alone worrying about me especially if the power goes out and his phone dies he'll have no way of knowing I'm okay.
