I talk to my 9 month old in both Spanish and English and I'll sign the words in ASL as I speak them. I was told my daughter will be nonverbal because she won't know how to speak and will have an association disorder. This whole time I can't help but think these people are crazy. That's how my parents taught me. Now I'm trilingual and know minimal German. I think know multiple languages is becoming essential.
