Plan B? Any negative side effects?

I'm 27 and we just had sex unprotected my period just ended 5 days ago. I know it's always a possibility to be pregnant but how likely for me? Also how does Plan B work exactly and is it basically a birth control pill you take once? Any bad side effects or mess up my next cycle?
If I don't take Plan B then Baby is meant to be:)

Plan B is NOT an abortion pill, they are two different things. It works best if taken within 72 hours of sexual intercourse. Whether you take it or not depends on whether or not you are ready to be a mom. I've taken it twice in 5-6 years. I don't regret it at all. Although I will say that it is not to used as a birth control method.

It is not a abortion pill. It stops the sperm from getting to the egg.  it's best to take it within 72 hours but works best asap. There can be side effects like messed up cycle, cramping, nausea.

don't take the plan b!never taken it myself but I've heard awful stories of people bleeding really bad up to two weeks after taking it. its not exactly a one time birth control pill, its more like an abortion pill. also it can mess up your cycles for a little bit. being that youre only 5 days past your period its very unlikely... normally people ovulate 14 days after their period! so. I think you're good😊👍 dont take plan b if you dont feel like you are %100 with it but hopefully everything works out
