Weight!?

Question

How much did you gain? According to the scale I have gained like 50+ lbs and I have no idea how or where it is. I'm confused lol
I'm at 223  and I was about 160 before.

It all adds up to something like 20-30 pounds. Plus water weight.

38w2d. I'm at 26 pounds. I always have a hard time losing weight. I'm trying to stay as healthy as I can so I gain what baby needs and hopefully not much more.

You may be carrying a lot of water. I lost 21lbs in the week after the birth. Baby was 9lb 4oz, so I reckon 14lbs from the actual baby, placenta, etc. Then my swollen feet, ankles and hands just drained themselves. It was really odd. Then I just had the rest of the actual weight to lose. Sounds weird but I didn't realise how much weight I'd put on other parts of my body as my huge bump made everything look tiny in comparison 😂. You look great! It can come off with a bit of dedication.

I'm 36 weeks and have gained 35 lbs so far, I'll probably gain another 5 before this is over lol. You look good, don't stress!

If it's any consolation you look great and are carrying it very well! I was 169 before I got pregnant the first time, had a MC twice and by the time I got pregnant the third time I was 174. By my first 8 week appointment I was already up to 184! I'm now 203 as of this morning. So I've technically gained 29 pounds and look like a heffer! I was worried about gaining too much but my doctor never says anything. In fact she said I was like a Mercedes car... 🤷🏼‍♀️ this picture was yesterday.
