9 months. I started my period at 11, and once it started it didn't quit for almost a year, and that was only because I was finally put on birth control. About 2 years into it my periods just stopped and I didn't have another one for 10 months. It's just crazy what the female body goes through with periods alone 🤷🏼‍♀️
