Should I wait or call L&D ???

Question

I am 38 weeks and 3 days pregnant. Yesterday I was having mild contractions throughout the day and then last night I was having them a lot all night. This morning I had my bloody show and contractions mellowed off all day. But for a couple hours now I've had contractions 8 mins apart and they've only gotten stronger. Water has not yet broken tho.

I would go in. Mine stayed 8 apart when pushing.

My doctor had me call her when my contractions were 3-5 mins apart and couldn't talk through them. I would say they weee closer to 5 minutes apart and I was unable to talk at all. Started heading to the hospital approximately 10 hours my mucus plug came out. Doesn't hurt to call your dr or L and D
