Where did the spark go?😢

Hey guys! So me and my boyfriend have been together for about 3 1/2 years now and I remembered when I used to be on my period he would take care of me, but me my favorite snacks and be so loving. Now he's the total opposite. He doesn't do anything sweet like that. When my backs hurt really bad he doesn't want to rub it or when I want to cuddle with him he does want me on him. He gets upset when I cry about the pain cause there's nothing I can do about it and have to deal with it. I know in my relationship I can be a bitch but if I'm being so loving (which I'm usually not when I'm on my period) why is he so rude? I just miss all the sweet things. What should I do??😭

Stop catering to him as well and you'll see where you stand. If he notices he's probably just gotten lazy but if he doesn't care maybe it's time to spark a new flame somewhere else.

some men may be different but speaking from my point of view 3 1/2 years and painful periods assuming you haven't had kids in that time frame is like 40 periods. i try to be open minded so i know that if my man was to complain about the same thing every single month, get bitchy (i do too don't worry lol, and want attention for it. i'd be over it after a while too u know. it's happened in all my relationships. so i use that time of the month for me time. my cramps are horrible. they make me want to throw up and i sweat and i'm in pain. so i take a hot shower, get a heating pad, read a book and cater to my self. if he's doing it in other aspects of your relationship i wouldn't say do it back. two wrongs don't make it right. but talk to him and him give a chance to change. if not then do what's best for you.

Honestly I was in a very similar spot a few months ago. I can be a bitch in my relationship too, especially on my period. However I noticed my bf was slacking and we took a break for a week (well tried to but he didn't respect it because he got all nervous I was gonna leave). I ended up breaking up with him. Three days later he came back and admitted he'd seen his faults and wanted to give it another go and begged me for another chance. I gave him a second chance, since he said ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING I HAD BEEN SAYING ALL ALONG. 🙄🙃 lol anyways we're still together. So I guess my bf just needed a wake up call. Things have been much better since then for us. Maybe that's what your SO needs? I dunno, just an idea. Hope this helps! 😊

Just because you have your period and are in pain doesn't mean you have to be bitchy to him. Don't take it out on him. It's not his fault.  You want to fix things? sit down and talk to him. Talk dont yell, after years of being with the same person you forget to stop fighting for them. It happened to me, I talked to him about it told him he had changed that he was cold, and he said it was true but that I had also changed. I stopped paying attention to him, which was true.
