Losing weight while pregnant

Hi everyone! I recently found out I'm 8 weeks pregnant. I'm very overweight (300+) and I have a pretty unhealthy lifestyle. We did not plan this pregnancy, and even debated on whether or not to keep it, but ultimately decided to move forward with becoming parents. Since I found out about the baby, I immediately changed my eating habits. No more fast food, no more soda, cut down on the sugar and bad fats, and I've increased my fresh fruits and veggies and whole grains. And I'm drinking a shit ton of water, lol. Which is not something I'm used to. It's been just over two weeks since I've made these changes, and I've lost 17 lbs. I'm not trying to lose weight. My very supportive, super awesome doctor said there's no reason to worry as long as I'm not depriving myself or feeling hungry all the time. And I'm not. I feel great actually. I figure a lot of it is probably the water. And just eating healthy foods instead of garbage. I was just curious if any other ladies here actually lost weight during their pregnancy?
