Please advise!!!

Okay, I'm pretty new to the TTC. The app says my ovulation day is in 2 days. However, today I'm having left side cramping like I'm ovulating. Is the pain a sign of ovulation day, does it come earlier or later? Please advise! My husband and I had sex last night, so was that a good time in relation to the pain I'm having?
