When you had a miscarriage how long did your bleeding last for?

I'm miscarrying at 5 weeks pregnant and I started bleeding on Monday like a period. Then Tuesday it picked up and I passed a huge thing the length of my hand which I'm pretty sure was the sac/placenta. And then yesterday it was lighter. And today is the same as yesterday. So I'm on day 4 right now. I'm really hoping it doesn't last more than a week 😐

Everyone's is different, unfortunately. My first one only lasted a few days, the second one two weeks.

I really think everyone's body handles a miscarriage differently. I was spotting for a couple days and then actually passed tissue on July 7th. I didn't stop bleeding until 8/11. 
I'm so sorry for your loss and hopefully this process is as quick and painless as it could possibly be for you.
