Ex Boyfriend Trouble!! Need Advice!!

So three months ago me and my ex boyfriend broke up for in all honesty a stupid reason. It was an issue we could have easily resolved. During the time after the break up we barely talked and convinced each other we had moved on. That wasn't the case we wanted each other to believe that we had. During these three months I decided to at least try and I met someone, that was around 2 months ago, were only talking and seeing each other for dates and the occasional hook up so it's not really serious. I also know it's not going to go anywhere because this guy isn't ready for anything more and doesn't ever want kids (I have always wanted kids). And the other night my ex called me telling me how much he loves me, How no one compared to me that he talked to, How he never moved onto another girl and how he only bragged about her to help me move on ( epic fail). He said he regrets breaking up with me and loves me and would give anything to have me back. I would take him back in a heartbeat. it's just what do I do about this new guy and I'm scared history will repeat itself with my ex.
