Has anyone taken Clomid?

Hello I have just been informed I have PCOS. 
I just finished all my lovely infertility test and now my doctor wants me to take metformin for 3months and then start taking Clomid 
has anyone out here have success with this treatment plan?
my husband and I have been trying to convince for about 2 year now and we finally took the big step and asking for help

Clomid didnt work with me neather. I got pregnant naturally after I stopped with all medications and shitty foods, but sadly had MC 7+ weeks. Now after a year Im ttc again :-) first month now :)

My niece conceived after her 3rd cycle on Clomid.
I tried it for 2 cycles, but the side effects were horrendous for me.

Has anyone taken Clomid?
