chopping food

anyone else still chopping food into small bits for the little one. like tonight were having goulash and I can't give him a whole elbow noodle, it just freaks me out. so I'm chopping into little bits. he still only has 4 teeth. we quarter raspberries and he can eat cheerios. am I being crazy?
