I know that I can't use birth control due to a heart condition,  but are there other options outside of condoms? please enlighten me 😣😣

You could get an IUD put in place. There is the non hormonal version that is made if copper, it's basically designed to make the environment unlivable for sperm. You can have it taken out whenever you want or leave it for up to 10 years.
