October.. November is thanksgiving and Christmas shopping lots of people won't have extra money ..

I'm due Jan 6 and I think I'll have mine at the beginning of December. My friend who is throwing it is going to have it all decorated for Christmas which I LOVE so I think either of your dates are fine :)
