Maternity jeans👶🏽

Okay. This may be a silly question, but I have these maternity jeans I just got from Motherhood Maternity. At first they felt alittle tight. And uncomfortable but now that I have been wearing them for about 15 mins now, they don't feel tight at all. Are maternity clothes supposed to be alittle tight and give your bump alittle squeeze? Will it be uncomfortable for the baby?
